Acupuncture is an Australian government regulated industry

Acupuncture is a regulated medical profession in Australia. All acupuncturists maintain their knowledge once qualified with yearly minimum study requirements. Being a registered health profession, Acupuncture clinics in Australia are unable to publish reviews or testimonials of acupuncture. It is our professional duty to disclose that all results from acupuncture are individual and unique. With thousands of acupuncture clinical trials published the evidence for acupuncture treating specific conditions varies depending on the condition. Our professional therapists can advise you.

In certain circumstances referral to other practitioners will be most appropriate for your condition and we will always advise this during your consultation. When in our professional care, our knowledge and years of clinical experiences, guides us on approximately how many treatments you will require and we will be able to gauge if Acupuncture is appropriate for you. Every treatment we will evaluate our treatment care schedule with you.

AcuBalance adheres to all the professional codes and will only publish top quality, well referenced information on acupuncture and what acupuncture is good for. If you are unsure if acupuncture is suitable for your condition, we welcome your inquiry. Chinese medicine is generally considered to be safe but occasionally (as with all health treatments) may be associated with possible adverse reactions in individual cases. Acupuncture is considered non-invasive procedure. If unsure, we recommend you seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
