About Margi

  • Margi brings over 20 years of experience to our clinic. 
  • Previously a Registered Nurse in Gynaecological, Medical and Cardio-thoracic Units
  • In 2004 Margi gained a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and has worked consistently since then.
  • Margi is known for her gentle acupuncture style and her warm and friendly consultations.
  • Committed to on-going professional development, and safely integrating tradition with current research and evidence
  • Respects the roles that contemporary medical, surgical and complementary health each play.
  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner and Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association(AACMA),

  • Women’s health: menstrual problems, pregnancy support and preparing for birth, menopause transition
  • Common concerns: insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, allergic rhinitis (hay-fever)
  • Painful conditions: lower back pain, sciatica, knee and shoulder pain, neck pain, migraine prevention, tension headaches

Margi is a longterm resident of Brisbane’s northside, and is the mother of three young adults.

Having had three babies in under 5 years, she knows that busy, tired folk need simple yet effective care and solutions for their health and well-being.

Margi’s other interests include a variety of exercise and fitness activities, handcrafts and the arts, cooking, permaculture, gardening and singing.

Contracted Therapist to AcuBalance

In order to provide extended operating hours, the owner contracts services to other therapists, such as Margi.

Contracted therapists must meet strict criteria to operate in AcuBalance clinic.

Practitioners are self employed and are licensed to utilised the room within AcuBalance.

Your sessions are private and the owner respectfully refrains from seeking further information about each session from practitioners.

If requested, the owner is available to provide a second opinion. Additionally, any feedback is welcomed.

Our goal is to ensure you have received a great consistent service every time you attend AcuBalance.
